A fine watchmaker's salon for a shop of watches, jewellery and other pieces worth a closer look, where every bid deserves a little ceremony. On the homepage your live prizes rest on midnight velvet cushions inside a lit glass vitrine, each over its own engraved plate, and behind them stands a great ivory dial, guilloché from the centre out, whose seconds hand sweeps the real time and whose indices are the names of the pieces on show. When the page opens the crown is wound, the gear train turns into motion and the vitrine lights come up. Ivory dial white, midnight enamel blue, polished steel and a restrained rose gold by day; after dark the salon after hours, midnight velvet, lit vitrines and glints of gold. Timers read as chronograph registers with a balance wheel ticking beside them, the wallet is a Côtes de Genève caseback with a jewelled balance, every win is a certificate of authenticity under a maker's seal, the 404 is a dial stopped at 4:04, and the dark/light switch turns a toothed bezel across the screen, driven by its gear train, wheel by wheel. Evergreen: no dates to set, simply a salon all year, with your own line engraved on the maker's plate.
