Your shop as an old star atlas and the observatory that drew it, for stores whose heart is the draw: on the homepage the night sky is laid out as an engraved chart, each of your live prizes set in a constellation of its own, its stars joined by fine lines, and the next draw's time lettered in the chart's cartouche. When the page loads the observatory dome slides open, the stars come out one by one and the lines draw themselves to each prize. Headings in Caslon, the type of the great atlases, and coordinates, prices and countdowns in a fine, tabular sans. By day the atlas on the desk: chart parchment, ink-navy engraving and brass instruments; after dark the clear night it charts, deep indigo lit by starlight, the winning star in a soft aurora teal. The draw itself reads like the sky: each ticket's numbers drawn as its own small constellation, the draw machine an orrery whose planets wheel on brass rings until a drawn number flares as a star, and a shooting star crossing to the winning ticket. An observer's logbook for the wallet, a star certificate for every prize won, a chart of this draw's winning stars for the winners, "Star 404 · not on this chart" on an empty patch of sky, a star that lights when you add a ticket, countdowns that turn like a dial, and a dark/light switch that wheels the sky round its pole in long-exposure star trails. Evergreen: no dates to set, the stars are out all year.
