Boarding Pass

Your shop as the departure hall, for stores that sell travel and staying connected: data plans for trips abroad, travel prizes and duty-free style shopping, anywhere in the world. On the homepage a split-flap departures board hangs in a bright hall of white, passport navy and amber: each of your live prizes is a flight on it, its photo where an airline would put its tail, the prize as the destination, a gate and a status that flips to a green "Boarding", and beside the board a boarding pass with its perforated stub and barcode carries the next draw or sale time. When the page opens the board's flaps clatter through to the rows and the status column turns over to Boarding. Signs and headlines in a clear wayfinding sans, every time, code and number in a cockpit mono that reads at a glance, and amber gate signs for every button. The data-plan pages are the travel desk: each plan a boarding pass with its data, days and coverage, the plan page a gate check-in and your orders a stamped travel document. After dark it is the night terminal, the board glowing amber and the runway's edge lights running out beyond the glass. A passport page for the wallet, the arrivals board for the winners, a baggage-claim tag for every prize you win, "Flight 404 cancelled" on the board for a missing page, a gate scanner that sweeps a green line across whatever you buy or bid on, badges that land like passport stamps, and a dark/light switch that rolls a departures board down the screen row by row and flips it away with the new mode behind it. No festival and no dates: the hall is open all year.
